Ask any child of Africa what a thunderstorm over the plains smells like. Crisp, clean and the promise of life. Nature itself rejoices when rain is near. It brings joy and deep gratitude to man and beast.
The well-known song ‘Africa’ by Toto has brought many ex-pats to tears, the remembrance imprinted in their hearts. When a person starts studying nature in all it’s splendour, you come to realise that the brutal honesty and beauty of nature also offers knowledge. Just look around. What am I getting at?
Many times I had to sit with a client with their financial plans, their business plans, and their long term objectives, only realizing that they are not adequately prepared for their journey. So often I was asked, “how do I survive this setback. What can I do without finding it necessary to work my fingers to the bone for nothing? Do I really have to budget? What and where do I invest?”
Let me state this a tough journey and it is not for sissies, it takes a lot of guts.
On our journeys as entrepreneurs and individuals building wealth, we run into unexpected tough times. I had to find solutions and programs to help because I have been there. My compassion for the start-up business brought me to a place where I understood that people need assistance with the most basic of financial, legal or even personal matters. Most of the questions came from entrepreneurs not knowing the essentials of creating wealth.
During a sunny Sunday stroll in the bush, it dawned on me that in nature I will find many ways to explain success. If you are close to a window, look outside. What do you see? Wind bringing new seeds, birds building something for their future, or the ants constantly gathering? Nature offers us easy to understand, applicable goodies that we can use, and the Junglewealth journey begins.
